So I was browsing, as you do on slow Tuesday mornings, and I stumbled upon a sort of Bring a Trailer clone that amasses listings from other sites. And what do you know, they have a Sterling 825 listed.
If you’d like to waste more of your life uh... browse classic cars at work again, here’s the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! to the site.
And of course, the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Posted like a month ago, but I can’t imagine many people actually want these. Except me.

Hey, I did say it was a BaT clone. It even comes complete with monstrous price tags.

Not a problem. Glad I could help.

Actually, it’s an Acura.
Big /s if that wasn’t implied.

My interests are all over the spectrum on that page.
https://newoldcars.com/1997-toyota-previa-supercharged/
11.5 k for a mint egg
https://newoldcars.com/2004-dodge-ram-srt10/
23.5k for a viper truck
https://newoldcars.com/1989-ford-taurus-sho/
7.5k for the SHO
I want them all

They have everything. Even both generations of Ford Lightning. Unfortunately no 454SS but what can you do.
The inclusion of the LX570s also made me happy.

Saw that as well. Two first gen vipers too. Decently priced IMO

My dad had one of these in the 80s as a company car. Didn't keep it very long due to electrical problems and replaced it with an Acura Legend which is the same car without the British electrics.

Wasn’t the build quality not so great on these? I remember seeing quite a few when they came out, and then it’s as though they disappeared.

IIRC they sold very well the first two years. And then people started running into major electrical issues and shocking amounts of rust issues. Great interior quality only sells for so long.
At this point, I’ve seen more F40s than Sterlings. They absolutely did disappear.

Yeah that’s probably how a lot of them ended up.

Thanks, that’s what I thought. They are not bad looking cars, kind of a bland mix of every other car on earth at the time.

I want it
Of all the school bus yellow things in the world this may be the best.

As recently as 5-10 years ago I used to see these semi regularly around Seattle, but always in “survivor” condition. Not so much anymore though. I think they’re all dead now.

Always take the low road

That car is basically a less-reliable Acura Legend.
And $11K for that? That’s a No Dice price even give the low mileage and condition.
